A fundraiser to support the Missionaries of the Poor was held at the Shelburne-Buckland Community Center on the 17th. Father Roach and Hugh Knox were the organizers of the event which raised just over $1200.00 for the M.O.P. Special thanks to Doris Dube, Ella Cosimini, Annie Hynes, Marion Scott, Pam Kelleher and John Cormican for their help in setting up, cooking, serving and cleaning up afterwards. A great time was had by all.
Father Roach, who is leaving shortly for a mission in Kenya and a vacation with the Heider’s in England, would like to wish all of the parishioners of Saint Joseph parish a very Happy Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas! Please continue to pray for him.
