The Total Gym donated by the Chuck Norris Kickstart Foundation last month is garnering plenty of media attention statewide. There is an article in the Tuesday, July 10, 2012 edition (Local Section, Section C page C1) of the Greenfield Recorder written by Recorder Intern Chelsie Field about the donation, and WBZ 1030 News Radio called and did a phone interview with Parish Tag Sale Coordinator, Nancy Finn this morning. This afternoon, Father Paul was asked to do an impromptu interview with WGGB-TV Channel 40 News about the Norris’ gift. And not to be left out, WWLP-TV Channel 22 News picked up the story also. Nancy has decided to put the gym up for auction, and is already taking phone bids for it. If you’d like to call in a bid, she can be reached at (413) 625-8148. We have decided to leave the gym boxed to maintain its maximum value and to make it easier for the buyer to get it home undamaged. The initial bid is: $300.00.
