Thanks so much to our wonderful and patient guides, Nicole Slowinski, Vicky Rockstroh, Mary Ledwell and April Helenek, with Assistant Guides Rachel and Alex Purington, who led eleven highly spirited youngsters through a three-day tour of SonRise National Park (August 7 – 9). The children enjoyed activities such as games of skill, story time, coloring a giant mural and, of course, snacks! All the while, they learned about nature, animals and the most important survival skill of all: that they can always depend on Jesus and His promises of true peace, true riches, true power, true love and true hope! Each of the children received a small gift bag upon leaving the park.
