LENTEN FAMILY RETREAT
All are welcome to join St. Lucy’s Home School Adventure Group for a Lenten Family retreat at Blessed Sacrament Church in Greenfield on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 10am.
Monsignor Chris Connelly; Vicar General/Moderator of the Curia for the Diocese of Springfield will start us off with a “Walk-through of the Mass.”
Mother Olga and her Daughters from The Daughters of Mary of Nazareth, in Boston, and Friars from Springfield will take us through the rest of the day, providing a true Lenten Family Retreat.
After Mass, we will join for:
Rosary
Lunch
Skit, given by the Sisters
Talks given to the children and parents/adults (grades Pre-K-2, 3-5, 6-8, teens, parents/adults)
Exposition and Confession with the Friars (Tentatively)
Ending with the Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3pm
A simple, meatless (Pizza and/or veggie grinders, water, juice, carrots) lunch will be provided for all in attendance. Please bring snacks, if needed.
Cost is Free. Donations for lunch are welcome, but not necessary.
