If you haven’t read your copy of this week’s Shelburne Falls Independent, you missed an article entitled “St. Joseph’s labyrinth project a “Christmas miracle” by Managing Editor, Virginia Ray.  The article is an interview with project manager and parishioner Eileen Lively, and gives a good synopsis of the project-to-date, but a lot of “ground work” has begun since the article was published in the December 9, 2011 edition of the paper.

Parishioner Kevin Ford has been working at the site all week, and has the outer and the inner rings in place, and has started with a second inner ring.  A stone bench and what I call a “Prayer Pillar” were set today as visual site attractions.  Together with Norris Hall and Paul Fort, the work being done is all Pro bono publico (a Latin phrase generally used to describe professional work undertaken voluntarily and without payment). Thank you guys!

Take a look after Mass this weekend!  Pictures will be added soon.  Check back often for more updates.
