Epiphany Food Drive

Happy New Year from the parish staff

and all of our visiting priests!

To help all of our parishioners and members of our community also have a happy New Year, we ask annually during Epiphany weekend for you to donate non-perishable food items to help restock the shelves of our food pantries, which become depleted during the holidays.  Of course you can also donate cash, which the Food Bank prefers as they can use their purchasing power to turn every dollar donated into $8 worth of food.

So, we ask that you please consider bringing at least 1 non-perishable food item (or cash) to Mass with you this weekend.  Canisters will be available at the doors.

As we continue to have donations of expired food, I must remind you that the pantries will not accept it and we are stuck with and must dispose of it.  Please check the expiration dates on all of your items… just like a passport, use the 6 month rule.
