National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) – NCYC is an exciting, biennial three-day experience of prayer, community, and empowerment for over 20,000 Catholic teenagers and their adult chaperones. It consists of engaging keynotes and workshops, music, an interactive exhibit area, and so much more. It will be held on November 16-18, 2017 in Indianapolis, IN. The Office of Youth Ministry is currently making plans for a delegation from our diocese to attend. The estimated cost to attend (including airfare) is approximately $1,000. Diocesan Celebration of the 32nd World Youth Day – All high school youth and young adults from are invited to pilgrimage to Our Lady of Fatima Church, Ludlow on Saturday, July 8, 2017 from Noon-5pm to celebrate the joys, sights and sounds of the 32nd World Youth Day in our diocese. The day will include various prayer experiences, interactive workshops, fun activities, great music, food, and mass with Bishop Mitchell T. Rozanski. A free will offering will be taken at mass. Catholic Youth & Family Day at Six Flags – Everyone is invited to join us for the 2nd Annual Catholic Youth and Family Day at Six Flags. The day begins with a 9:30am mass celebrated by Bishop Rozanski, and will include music. There is a special package which includes early entry for the mass, free parking, theme and water park admission, and an all-you-can-eat buffet lunch for only $43.24. For those only wanting early entry for the mass along with theme and water park admission for the day, there is a special rate of only $36.00. And there is no additional cost for season pass holders for the early entry for mass, however, they can choose to purchase the buffet lunch for $17.49. 62nd Annual Scouting Retreat – The Diocese of Springfield is offering its Annual Scout Retreat September 22-24, 2017 at Camp Holy Cross in Goshen.
