Burning of Palms/Mardi Gras

Our Burning of the Palms ceremony in which last year’s palms are burned, along with the Alleluia, to make the ashes that are used in the Ash Wednesday Mass.  Afterwards, a Mardi Gras meal is served.  Many thanks to our Family & Community Life Cmte. (who is that masked man behind the decorations?) for putting on the digs and to everyone who brought a Pot Luck dish to enjoy.  Mmmm!
