The rectory had a couple thousand new borders this morning! This momma (what we believe to be a species of the) wolf spider and her cluster of many, many spiderlings was found by two of our VBS children on the porch just outside the house door.
Unfortunately, for the safety of the children, we had to relocate momma as she is aggressive and has a venomous bite, and destroy the nest.
She is almost 3″ long from end-to-end…
