The traditional crowning of the Marian Statue in front of St. Joseph Church was held on Sunday, May 3 after the 10:30 a.m. Mass. Children offered prayers and then placed a potted flower (donated by the Greenfield Open Air Market) on a stone in the flower garden at the feet of the statue.
After prayers were offered, a floral crown supplied by Hugh Knox was placed on Mary’s head by Alex Purington.
